Speed Indicator Devices

Lindfield Parish Council owns two speed indicator devices which are being deployed at the following locations:

          Backwoods Lane

Black Hill

Hickmans Lane

High Beech Lane

High Street

Lewes Road

Portsmouth Lane

Sunte Avenue

West Common

 

The devices are fitted with data units which will collect information on volume and speed of traffic.  Individual location reports and a summary data for 2019 are shown below.

The council have obtained permission from West Sussex County Council Highways to deploy the devices. We have also sought permission from SSE Ltd to attach the devices to specified lighting columns.
