Proposed public toilets on Lindfield Common



Lindfield Parish Council is applying to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Lindfield common.

The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State. The proposed works are the construction of a public convenience block and associated landscaping. The proposed block measures approximately 5 metres in depth, 7.3 metres in width with an eaves height of 2.2 metres and an overall height of 5 metres. The area the works will cover is approximately 40 metres2. The proposed works will be located on the common to the north of the car park at Lindfield Bowling Club on Backwoods Lane.
