🌿 Lindfield Parish Council Launches Grass Verge Nature Pilot! 🌿

We’re excited to launch a new pilot project to explore how our village grass verges can better support local wildlife while keeping safety a top priority.

🐝 Why?
Nature and wildlife are in decline across the UK, and grass verges can provide valuable habitats for pollinators, insects and wildflowers.

🌱 What’s happening?
• Four verges across the village will be managed in different ways as part of the trial
• Work to plant wildflowers has already started in parts of Wilderness Field
• We’ll monitor the impact on nature and share regular updates with the community

📍 Look out for signs explaining each trial area.
