Community in Action at The Wilderness Field

On Monday and Tuesday evening, members of 1st Lindfield Scout Group joined forces with the Friends of Eastern Road Nature Reserve and Lindfield Parish Council for a fantastic hands-on session supporting our local environment.

Together, they:

Planted around 100 wildflower plugs to boost biodiversity across the site

Explored the field, spotting wildlife and keeping an eye out for insects

Potted up oak saplings, helping to nurture future trees for planting in other areas

It’s great to be working in partnership with local groups to care for and enhance our natural spaces. A huge thank you to everyone involved for their hard work and enthusiasm!
