Community Award Presentation

Thank you to everyone who attended the Village Road Show and Awards Celebration. It was a fantastic event and a real pleasure to see so many members of the community come together. We were especially pleased to welcome many local community groups who hosted displays and shared the great work they do, thank you for being part of the evening.

A special thank you to our guest speakers from the Lindfield Society, the Lindfield Bonfire Society and PCSO Gon for sharing their insights and helping make the evening so memorable.

We were also honoured to have the Deputy Lord Lieutenant, John Barclay, join us, making the evening extra special by presenting not one, but two awards.

The very first Lindfield Parish Council Community Award was proudly awarded to the Friends of Eastern Road Nature Reserve. This dedicated and welcoming volunteer group works tirelessly to protect and enhance the biodiversity of the Nature Reserve. The award was collected by members of the group.

A special recognition award was also presented to 6-year-old George for his inspiring litter-picking efforts within the local community. What a fantastic example to us all!
