Planning & Traffic Committee

The Planning and Traffic Committee meets, in the King Edward Hall, every three weeks to agree responses to planning applications and is responsible for: 

  • Examining and making recommendations to the Council on major planning applications and on consultations relating to Planning Policy and the Local District Plan. 
  • Examining and dealing with, on behalf of the Council, all minor planning applications and tree preservation order matters.
  • Examining and making recommendations to the Council on all traffic issues and new highway facilities relating to the Parish which are the responsibility of West Sussex County Council.
