Haywards Heath & District U3A
The U3A held its first ever carol concert on 4 December 2009 in the Methodist Church, Perrymount Road, Haywards Heath. The event attracted over a hundred members and was organised by member, Bob Bayliss. The picture shows the German Group singing Holy Night in German.

The next U3A Open Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 13 January 2010, at 2.30 pm, when James Moore will be our speaker on the subject of climate change and the outcome of the Copenhagen Conference. The U3A is starting a new yoga group in the January and is taking names for a tai chi group to commence in the Spring.
Lindfield Horticultural Society organised an excellent Christmas celebration, filling the King Edward Hall in Lindfield. Entertainment was provided by the Sussex Harmonisers.
Lindfield Flower Club
Lindfield Flower Club's Christmas Demonstration provided a dramatic display of stunning arrangements. Members and Guests enjoyed a very entertaining afternoon and some lucky raffle winners were able to take an arrangement home.
Lindfield Evening W.I.
Lindfield Evening W.I. celebrated Christmas in style with a buffet and entertainment.
